Patient care experience
Clerkships are four weeks in length and expose the student to a variety of clinical learning experiences. Students will have direct contact with attending faculty and be able to work with our Transitional Year and Internal Medicine residents in the care of patients, providing an excellent orientation to post-doctoral training at Blake Medical Center.
Blake Medical Center is unable to provide meals or housing for students. However, we offer a discount in our cafeteria and can provide you a list of nearby hotels, some of which rent by week/month, upon request. Occasionally there are residents who have a room for rent, you may inquire of availability after your rotation is confirmed.
