Bradenton, Fl — Blake Medical Center is welcoming Randy Currin as its new Chief Executive Officer. In his position as CEO, he will lead the hospital in the execution of its mission of providing exceptional care to every patient, every time.
Currin has a broad range of experience in the healthcare industry. Most recently, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Florida, a 323 bed Level II Trauma Center. His background also includes strategic planning and development of orthopedic, spine and neurosurgical service lines across 16 hospitals in the Tampa Bay area, including Blake Medical Center.
“I look forward to working with the talented hospital staff and physicians at Blake Medical Center to ensure we continue to serve Manatee, Sarasota, and DeSoto Counties with exceptional advanced medical services and compassionate care. My family and I are thrilled to be returning to the area and to HCA,” said Randy Currin.
“Randy is a strategic healthcare leader with a strong track record in multisystem organizations, where he has successfully managed hospitals, trauma programs, physician groups and surgery programs.” said Peter Marmerstein, President of HCA West Florida Division.
Currin holds a Master of Business Administration in Health Sector Management and Policy from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science from East Carolina University. He is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives and a Certified Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma.
He and his wife Jessica have been married for 13 years and are excited to be returning to the area they consider home. They will be joined by their 9 year old daughter and their 4 year old son.
