BRADENTON, FL -- The Women's Health and Wellness Program at Blake Medical Center will be celebrating Women's Health Week with their 2nd Annual Exceptional Women's Luncheon. The 2016 guest speaker will be Hannah Curlee Young, a star from season 11 of The Biggest Loser. The luncheon will take place at IMG Golf Club on Friday, May 20th from 11:30am-1:00pm. The lunch aims to celebrate the importance of women's health and wellness.

Hanna Curlee Young was deemed an underdog of Season 11 of NBC's The Biggest Loser, but came back to win with her sister, making them two of the most popular contestants in Biggest Loser History. By the show's end, she dropped 120 pounds. For viewers the transformation was
startling, for Curlee Young, it was life altering. Making health and wellness a new found priority, Curlee Young hosts a YouTube channel called Myfitspiration as well as a lifestyle and fitness blog.

Blake Medical Center believes in empowering women to make healthcare decisions that are best suited for their unique journey. With the
addition of the , Jodi Miranda, RN, BSN, PCCN, Blake aims to reshape the way we look at women's health. Miranda shares, "Every woman
deserves to be put at ease, knowing that they are receiving personalized compassionate nursing care during a hospitalization or surgery. Having that one caring individual who will treat them like a family member and advocate for them during their healthcare journey can make all the difference in the world." The one of a kind service in Manatee County is free to all women.
