Doctor of the Year Ballot
The "Doctor of the Year" award is the highest honor bestowed by Blake Medical Center on one exceptional physician each year during our annual Doctor's Day festivities.
This time-honored tradition has been going on for over 30 years, and some of the area's finest physicians have held this respected title since it's start in 1983.
Now you can be part of selecting our next Doctor of the Year with a simple on-line ballot. Nominations are accepted from patients, hospital staff, fellow physicians and the community at large. *Physicians nominated must be on staff at Blake Medical Center. You may nominate more than one physician, but no duplicate ballots please. Ballots received after our selection process, will be counted for the following year.
Please consider the following when making your selection...
- Has demonstrated unusual concern for the welfare and happiness of patients and performed extraordinary patient care during the year.
- Has commitment to community service that parallels their involvement to quality patient care.
- Has a positive effect on others.
- Whose contributions may be overshadowed because of personal humility and modesty.
Please nominate a physician who best exhibits outstanding patient care. Any physician who is a member of the Blake Medical Center staff is eligible for nomination. Voting is open to everyone.
