Bradenton, FL – Blake Medical Center has appointed Jayme Chancellor as Chief Operating Officer (COO). In her position as COO, she will oversee all the day-to-day operations at the hospital.
Chancellor comes to Blake from Northside Hospital, a 288 bed facility in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she served as the COO. Chancellor has been with the HCA West Florida division since 2005 in various roles including process improvement engineer, director of management engineering and vice president of performance improvement.
“Jayme will be a strong addition to our team,” said hospital President and Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Friedrich. “Her background in process improvement will be beneficial to not only us, but also our community as we continue to expand services and provide exceptional care.”
Chancellor holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and an MBA from the University of Tampa. She also holds a green belt in Six Sigma and is certified in lean process improvement. Chancellor recently moved to Tierra Verde with her husband Trae, and their 2 year old son Colton. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, running and college football- Go OSU Buckeyes!
