Dr. Robert Subbiondo Named 2014 Doctor of the Year

Bradenton, FL – Blake Medical Center is proud to announce Robert Subbiondo, M.D. as the recipient of the 2014 Doctor of the Year award. Dr. Subbiondo has been an admired and respected member of the Blake Medical Center medical staff since 1985. Nominations were sent from patients, colleagues and hospital staff. They described Subbiondo as a great leader and a compassionate caregiver.
Dr. Subbiondo received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and completed his Residency at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center. He completed a Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Subbiondo is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He joined the Medical Staff at Blake Medical Center after moving to Bradenton in 1985.
