Cancer Care Program
The program is approved by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. We provide a full range of diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to the community relating to the care of cancer patients. The purpose of our Community Cancer Program is to establish an integrated approach to cancer care, allowing patients with cancer to have access to all of the many services necessary to resume an active, normal role in society. Case Management
Services are available to assist with arrangement of healthcare management during and post hospitalization to ensure the provision of necessary services for patients and their families.

Chronic Pain Management
Chronic pain is pain that you experience for a long period of time. It may be mild or severe and can affect your entire life, socially as well as physically. Relief of pain, totally or partially, allows you to live a more tolerable life without depression or the use of narcotics. Your physician can refer you to one of the chronic pain treatment physicians.

Emergency Department
24-hour, full service, providing acute illness and injury care.

Endoscopy
A fully equipped Endoscopy area for special procedures related to pulmonary and gastrointestinal interventions.

Gift Shop
Whether you come to browse or buy, you'll find many interesting gifts in all price categories as well as flowers, candy, books and magazines. Located in the main lobby, the Gift Shop is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. For more information call 941-798-6148.

Lithotripsy & Prostatron
Mobile services are available through the Bay Area Renal Stone Center. Your urologist may choose to use these methods of treatment. Tile Lithotripsy is a non-invasive procedure that "shatters" your kidney stone without surgery utilizing shockwaves directly at your stone making it "crumble" into sand-like particles. The Prostatron provides for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia by utilizing thermotherapy as a non-surgical alternative that improves symptoms and urine flow without serious side effects.

Medical Imaging
State-of-the-art diagnostic services: CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound (ICAVL Accredited Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory), Interventional Radiology (includes vascular and nonvascular procedures), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammotome Breast Biopsy and conventional radiography.

Neurosciences
The only dedicated unit in Manatee County specializing in the care of stroke and back surgery patients. The Neuroscience Unit is dedicated to providing care to adult patients with diseases affecting the brain and the spine. The patient and family are included in the planning of their care, with the goal of returning home. Outpatient Rehabilitation Therapy
Blake Medical Center provides outpatient rehabiliation therapy by licensed therapists in: Occupational, Physical, Speech, Dysphagia Therapy.

Outpatient Treatment Area
Specialized area for admission of IV antibiotics, blood and blood products, injections, wound care, as prescribed by your physician.

Sleep Center
A lab for detection of breathing disorders during sleep. Requires physician referral.

A multi-specialty unit providing quality care for inpatients and outpatients requiring surgical interventions.
